Whether we like it or not, human relationships are inherently competitive.

Life is a war, with countless small battles fought daily for attention, consideration, and favors.

We are all part of a colossal court where we play the courtiers to get more power.

In today’s world, strength, beauty, and intelligence alone won’t cut it. It’s the most cunning ones who succeed.

Yes, even with exceptional genetics, without incorporating strategic thinking into your life, you’ll find yourself sidelined, far from realizing your full potential.

Just look at the greatest historical figures…

You’ll find that nothing would predicate them to the brilliant life they’ve had.

Their secret lies in their approach to life as a whole. They embraced competition and learned to operate strategically to achieve their desires.

Today, I will briefly go over 10 strategies that you can apply right now to gain more power.

To win the war.

So let’s get started.

1. Divide and conquer

Never take obvious sides. Always bear alternatives.

Don’t join their fight. Instead, throw arguments into the mix to intensify the debate.

Let them grow tired of not finding a solution. Then, step in and present your approach as the best of both worlds.

2. Be unpredictable

Human beings only feel comfortable in a predictable environment.

Stay elusive, enigmatic, and unfathomable. Send mixed signals so that they never really feel like they know you.

Break patterns. Become a man with infinite resources, yet shrouded in mystery.

3. Set the pace

Make them wait when they crave more. Make them hurry up when they want to rest.

Always be where they least expect you.

Master time’s perception, and watch as your followers adore you and your enemies crumble.

4. Know your enemy

Are they impulsive? Calm? What do they hate? Love?

You can’t hit your target if you keep shooting blindfolded. You can’t win the war without having the upper hand on information.

Don’t rush into it without conducting thorough investigative work beforehand.

5. Provoke betrayal

Loyalty is scarce.

Many of your so-called “friends” are mercenaries, willing to stab you in the back if they receive a better offer elsewhere.

Simulate your own downfall from time to time and watch those who quickly distance themselves or even cut ties.

6. Lie cleverly

Honesty is a quality; transparency is a folly.

Craft your story with precision, skillfully choosing what to unveil and what to mask.

Remember, even among friends, gossip spreads like wildfire, twisting truths until they land in the wrong ears.

7. Virtue signal

Winning battles is great, but it’s even better if people think you fought for what was right.

Like a skilled magician, never reveal your tricks.

Instead, consistently emphasize noble intentions and virtuous principles that everyone agrees are worth defending.

8. Stay cerebral

Whatever it takes, maintain self-control.

Let the others freak out. Let them get emotional and make tactical mistakes, while you remain calm and calculated.

Their sudden anger will eventually lead to their downfall, earning you general trust at their expense.

9. Leave a lasting Impression

Don’t do half-measures.

Either take action or don’t, but never leave room for doubt and hesitation. And most importantly, never discuss your intentions.

Let the sudden impact of your actions strike their minds, and allow the rumors to spread.

10. Choose your battles

Many things may offend you, but you can’t afford to let your attention wander to all of them.

Choose with reason, not emotions.

Refuse to let your precious energy be eaten by people’s projects and their ability to sway you.

Set your own plans. Define your own goals. Take your own steps.
