It’s Ok if You Are Not Yourself Today
Hypocrisy is the rule, not the exception.
We all do things not because we want to, but because they are vehicles for something else. And I’m telling you, resisting this truth is a sheer waste of time.
- Take it as it is: A raw, unfiltered human trait.
- Use it as you should: To better understand people’s thoughts.
You see, politicians are the best (and most extreme) example of the hypocrisy of human nature. They exist solely through the image they convey to the public.
They are the first influencers. The first to direct millions or even billions of people’s eyeballs to one single spot to convey a message. The first to leverage that massive attention into power.
Politicians can’t openly share their dirty little secrets for fear of shattering their carefully crafted image

Citizens want to feel understood by the people who are supposed to manage them. In a way, they want to feel close to them. Like friends.
